All-Ivy Sculpture Studio Tour: Rubin Peacock's Studio & Gallery

Discover the process behind lost wax bronze sculpture from an acclaimed artist whose 50-year career will be documented in a forthcoming book. Rubin's sculptures are in private collections, museums, major corporations and universities. Rarely open to the public, his Richmond wax-working studio and gallery will welcome All-Ivy and Seven Sister alumni, where Rubin will discuss the process and the appeal of this ancient art form. Here is your opportunity to learn first-hand about bronze sculpture ahead of the highly anticipated Rodin exhibit coming to the VMFA.

Following the gallery tour, those who wish to will walk next door to Max's Restaurant--an old world, European style bistro. Happy Hour prices for drinks. Order meals off the menu. First floor of the studio/gallery and the restaurant are handicapped accessible.
