Get Involved

Meet new people, help others, feel good by doing good…

There are lots of ways to get involved with the Harvard Club of Virginia.  First, attend our numerous events.  We hold them regularly in Richmond, Williamsburg and Norfolk, so you don’t have to travel far.  In addition to mixers with other Ivy League schools, we also feature fascinating speakers, museum tours and Harvard sporting events.

If you wish to get more deeply involved, you can volunteer to help arrange events, interview students for Harvard College, talk with individuals and businesses about sponsoring opportunities, work with local high schools to offer Harvard Book Prize awards.  We are always on the lookout for people who would like to be on our Board or to become an officer, as we go forward.  Since we don’t yet charge for membership, we depend on contributors to help us make ends meet, since the prices we charge don’t always cover our costs.  You can help us by contributing yourself or by encouraging others to contribute to the club.

You may have your own ideas for how the club can help improve our communities.  We’re seeking people with imagination and energy.  Just email me at kim.chaffee2@gmail.com with your thoughts.  I look forward to hearing from you.
