All-Ivy Alumni Tour of VMFA's Rodin Exhibit - March 10

The Harvard Club of Virginia invites all Ivy-League and Seven Sisters Alumni/ae to tour the Virginia Museum of Fine Art’s exhibit, “Rodin:  The Evolution of a Genius Audio Tour” on Thursday, March 10, starting at 6:00pm in Richmond.  http://vmfa.museum  Please arrive at the museum by 5:45pm for check in.  After the tour, which lasts about an hour, those who wish can join us for dinner at VMFA’s Amuse Restaurant at 7:45pm.  The highly popular Rodin exhibit closes on March 13; many people will be seeing it right before it leaves.  Please sign up as soon as possible to insure a place in our group, which has limited space.

Organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Musée Rodin in Paris, this exhibition will feature nearly 200 works by the greatest sculptor of the 19th and early 20th centuries: Auguste Rodin. Revealing the evolving output of this genius of sculpture, the exhibition examines his techniques, materials, models and assistants, and explores the extraordinary working process behind some of his best known works.
